Flower Arranging Guide

Last Updated:
With the new gardening career in the Sims 4: Seasons expansion, you’ll get to have more features with the gardening skill. Growing different kinds of plants can provide you with ways in order to make money. One of the career branches of a Gardener is the Floral Designer, you can work well with flower arranging since you are able to create different kinds of arrangements that will benefit the career.

With the different flower arrangements that you create, you can have quality items on hand that can be sold, or perhaps you can even place them in your own home as decoration. In this page, we’ll be checking the features of flower arranging.

How does Flower Arranging work?

So how does one start about in learning the Flower Arranging Skill? Do you have to be a gardener in order for you to learn it? Thankfully, you can learn this skill without having the gardener career, but you’ll miss out on some benefits if you don’t.

In order to start flower arranging, you can go on Buy Mode and check Study > Hobbies and Skills. From there, you can purchase the “Violets are Blue Flower Arranging Table”. You can then interact with the said table and create your arrangements from there using different flowers.

The Flower Arranging table can be obtained through Buy Mode

If you own a garden and have some harvestable flowers, you can place them on your inventory and then they can be used for flower arranging. You can drag and drop them to the table and let your sim develop their skill. The quality of the flowers that you have can help with the total outcome of your arrangement as well, which is why having the Floral Designer career can be beneficial.

Flower Arranging Skill Levels

What are the benefits of leveling up your flower arrangement skills? When starting out, you’ll be able to create basic arrangements with specific types of flowers. Honing your Sim’s craft can help them get more arrangement choices, as well as unlock more types of flowers that you can use.

Adding Scents to your arrangements

If you check your flower arranging skills, you’ll notice that once you hit level 3 you will be able to add scents to your arrangements. By using specific flowers for scents, you’ll be able to provide different effects to your excellent-quality arrangements.
