New Traits have been added in the Sims 4: Seasons, and they provide your Sims with unique effects depending on which one they currently have. Similar to the base game, you can equip multiple traits to have a unique combination for your Sims. Seasons provides new traits that are related to the Weather, as well as traits that can be inherited as well as acquired by children who become scouts.

| Father Winter's Baby | Wow! Father Winter is actually (Sim Name)'s Dad! That's amazing! Wonder if he/she gets any magical abilities? |
| Scouting Aptitude | All of your Scouting ability makes future earning of Skills a little bit easier. |
