How to Cheat
Once you have purchased the device, you can play it anywhere on your property and let your Sim interact with it in order to alter the Weather. Different options will appear for you, and more can be unlocked depending on your Sim’s handiness skill level.
However, the machine is quite finicky and the device won’t always be successful with your attempts. Whenever you use the Weather device, you’ll get a message if you’re unsuccessful with your attempt. You’ll know that you’ll have a successful weather change once the machine launches and then heads to the sky in order to change the weather.
You should also take note that you must be careful with using the machine. It doesn’t come without risks because any failed attempts can get your Sim electrocuted! If you use the Weather device often and get shocked in a row, your Sim can get killed. It would be beast to try to increase your success rates first before using the machine free willingly.
It’s important that your Sim has a high handiness skill, you can gain this by repairing objects that get broken. This can take time since not all things in the house break all the time, but the upgrades that you can get are worth it.
